Indian Pass Tarpon 7/13

Post by BayGator »

Went out of Indian Pass on Friday and found the tarpon fired up. Caught some live pogeys and slipped one out the back of the boat and before I could get the second line tied to a leader this guy jumped on. Took and hour for my coworker to land her first tarpon after some hard fighting and some awesome jumps.

This picture was about a second too late, but still a good shot.

My friends first landed tarpon and it only took 5 minutes for it to hit. (I let her know its not always like this)
