Fishing on the Surface of the Sun...Econfina 8/8/07

Post by birddog »

TinCan and I launched from Econfina pre-daylight this morning and headed into some creeks hoping to find a few reds. Fished the length of 4 or 5 creeks chunking soft jerk baits, spoons, and spinnerbaits. Managed to find 13 reds mostlly peewees, but a couple of nice'uns.

Around 1:00 we'd had enough. The heat was brutal and Savannah's buffet was calling so we packed it in. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip TC. Can't wait til next time.

In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

Nah, I think it will be Hanes...I mean how better to show how strong their briefs are...to hold back such a flood of BS and not have even one skid mark on the back of his pants :smt005 :smt005

I do not sound like Roland Martin. I didn't say "OOOOH, SON!" one time.

Thanks for the ride, Birddog. It was a laid back, exploration day. And I was along for the ride. The Nutcracker II preformed flawlessly. We caught enough fish to call it a successful day. Nothing broke. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Lookin forward to the next trip.
What was I supposed to do today?
