Icky 8-7 Go out deep and hang on!
Tried the might Icky tuesday, Put in at 8 AM on rising tide and went out to deep water, about 10-11 ft. Water dark and just could make out grass on bottom, got into fish right away. Lots of short trout and bass, plus the usual mixture of everything in between like lizardfish, squirrelfish, pins. Finally started catching keeper trout and managed 9, biggest 17''. Not big trout but good eating size. Also 4 keeper bass, 1 jolthead, a big sailcat about 5 lbs. and 5 sharks.
Kept 2 big sharks for the cooler, gave one to Dad and his partner and released the others. We had to keep moving the boat to get some drift, wind light and slow falling tide. But fish bit all day. Also got 2 small blues, released. It was plenty hot, made good use of 2 umbrellas on boat and at least had some shade. Dad did about like we did, 10 keeper trout and 4 joltheads. Left at 2 pm just before rainstorm came in, rained all the way to Ga. and got a good boatwash
.caught everything on white gulp or white grub with shrimp or cutbait on hook. Unusual trip but a lot of fun.

Great day- especially with it being so hot.
If I was a fish I would be deep and cool right now.
