Mashes Area 8/15

Post by Redphisher »

I left my house at 5:30 this morning, picked up the boat from the Mini Storage and was on the water by 6:45. It was already hot. Fishing was slow. Right off the bat I went out to the 6 to 8 foot mark ending up catching one trout and one sail cat on a soft jerk bait. Moved a bit to fish some of the moving (falling) water and caught two reds. One was small and the other was 20" also three more trout. Trout went form 13" to 21". Not one Lady fish. Off the water and away from the heat by 10:45. Not too bad but I wish the weather would break, just a little bit. I'll try again on Friday
