It was a tough day. We weighed in 4 keepers totaling 7.00 pounds. That got us a 7th place finish. I believe there were 19 boats fishing today. At least 9 teams did not weigh a fish in.
Hats off to JT51. He caught um all. I didn't boat a keeper trout today. The one decent fish I did boat was a 5 pound 6 ounce Spanish.
After 3 days of HARD fishin, I'm beat.

What was I supposed to do today?

We didn't catch a trout all day either. We weren't really trying for trout as much as reds, although I was throwing my little swimming trout on a CT about half the day in places where you'd normally get a few. We also spent an hour or two pushing the bay scout through the grass and mud to get out of little pass. Sounds like y'all did well to get 4 keepers in the boat though from what we saw out there all day so
...and mojo c'mon...he wasn't making a big wake...they just passed us cause his yammy 115 idles about 5mph faster than yours

Not to much better for the Bass Boys. We did manage to catch a 10 fish limit but the biggest was 18 inches
We weighed in a whopping 7.7 pounds to finish I think in 5th place. I think me and Trouttrent spent more time swatting black flies, don't think I've ever seen them that bad before. Oh well a good time was had caught some nice redfish with the biggest being 31 inches which we promptly released to fight again and I also caught 2 red's at the same time on a skitterwalk
that was crazy.

We already know where Bahorski fishes.
He just chooses the right 10% of the water 90% of the time.
On our average weight of 1.75 lbs per fish,we would have finished 2nd place if we coulda' got that 5th fish.
The fish were there. They just would not hook up.
They knocked topwater baits out of the water all day long.
