Got on the water around 7:45pm and ran to the 1st spot alone. Covered about 300 yards seeing 7-8 flounder but they were dinks. Seatrout99 called and he was 10 minutes from the ramp. Went a few more feet and I see my first keeper. Stuck him and about that time I look two feet behind him an there is another one. Slung him in the boat and he slipped off the gig, hit the motor and fell into the boat. Spun back around and stuck the other one and put him in the boat a little easier. Went and pickup up ST99 at the ramp.

Back out on the water we start working the shoreline. After lots of compaining from ST99(he wants to go gig sheepshead) we finally see a keeper flounder. ST99 misses. :smt009 We then head to a bar to look for sheephead. Put 12 in the boat over the next few hours. We hit the spot I started at earlier and put one more flounder in the boat and I gigged 2 BIG mullet with much anger. Guess I was holding a grudge. ;-)

Tide was not as low as I was hoping making my flounder spots invisible. Wind picked up later in the night making some spots hard drift over. Once again, the lowly sheepshead saves the trip. Off the water at 3am.

Flounder were 16, 15, 15. Three sheephead were pushing 20", the rest were 14-16.
