Gulp Live

Does anyone have experience with the Gulp Live? Can you tell any difference between that and the regular Gulp?

Have you spilled the jar in your boat yet? :o :o

I haven't used them but dear GOD don't spill the can in your boat. You'll end up having to get the hull redone after all the fish biting it...

Naw, that boat ain't sinking. It is just that the net is so full after using a 3" molting gulp for bait, it cannot haul up the load..... :smt009

Ain't you ever watched Nemo? Dory is down there hollering "SWIM,SWIM"

I bet that stunk to high heaven. I'm gonna buy a bucket, freeze the juice when I'm done with the shrimp and use it as a chum block. :-D

I rigged up some of my own gulp after spending 40 bucks on gulp new penny only to have them all gone within two fishing trips. While fishing with the gulp I noticed my hands smelled like the sardine soaked rags that were left in my truck on my wedding day (another story) so I decided what the heck and bought a few cans of sardines in soybean oil ..I took some greedy gut shrimp and made holes in them with a needle to help hold the oil.. I got me a heavy duty ziplock bag drained the sardine oil in the heavy duty ziplock bag (cause I sure did not want it to leak out of a cheaper ziplock bag) put the greedy gut shrimp in with it and let it sit for a few days .I was kind of just messing around with the idea but the smell was so close to gulp I new it had to work.We went 6 miles out from the light house at the mouth of the ecofina and I was catching nice trout with my home made gulp :lick: .I caught just as many as a friend who was using real gulp But I only had 5 bucks in my bait!!!

Throw away the jar the gulp alive comes in and use watertight tupper ware or rubbermaid container. The Gulp jars are not very watertight after opening.
