Good Saturday Morning

Post by Mook! »

Mornin fellers...

Anyone goin to St Marks area today, let me know. I just got home with new used boat so I need to know who I gotta holler at when it breaks down, and on what channel...Fortunately got my TowBoatUS payment in just before midnight, so that should be good, but I expect maybe the radio will die after the motor. I'm sometimes just not lucky with things...

Oh and by the way - Tin Can - I'm missing the handheld Garmin GPS I was using to mark your spots when you took me fishing Thursday...seen it around? It's quasi-waterproof so I don't think I put it up front. Hopefully I'll find it 'round here in the next few minutes, but it wasn't in the truck and I don't remember bringing it in the house.

Thanks buddy - I appreciate it - I'm about to head out in a few minutes, but I'm stoppin by ye olde walmart on the way to prolly pick up a battery jumper dealie or 2nd battery (or at least enough screwdrivers and pliers to manual start it) cause there's only one battery in this rig I just got and no switch, so I'm pretty afraid of losing power. It came with a perty trolling motor mount...just the mount...so I'm prolly just going to head east and drift around.

Beware of freakishly low tide this morning - predicted low was -0.45 at 10:34am, and according to the weather channel there's already 4 knot wind out of the NNE, picking up to 15-20 early in the daylight allegedly, so that could blow quite a bit more water out than expected, and -0.45 is perty shallow to begin with.

Nice and cool to start off with.
Y'all have fun!

I'm doing brakes, bearings and lugs nuts for DT and his wife and family this morning :D

Since I have marine grade lithium grease in my greasegun - will that work for an automobile lube?

Mornin, folks.

After studying the tides and looking at the winds, my son and I are headed to Talquin. Ain't gonna be no water for my redfish to swim in.
What was I supposed to do today?
