Had one on my 40 yammy for almost 5 years and I LOVE IT   better hole shot, gets on plane at lower speeds and is easier to control at slow speeds and turns

Follow the directions precisely!! And have a good drill bit  I was able to do mine by myself, but I had plenty of clamps to hold it in place :-D If you need help with it, just let me know and we can try to arrange a time

The bolt hole is a different size for different motors, if you don't have a new or nearly new bit in the right size, buy one, most any metal bit will work but it needs to be sharp from the get go. Also use a small bit first to make a starter hole for the bigger bit.

Lizbeth I had 1 on the boat prior to my current boat. I second everything Wevans said. It really adds performance to small boat/motors.
