Found a survey questionaire on my truck.....

Post by Barhopr »

... when I got back in from fishing Friday that is a product of Univ.Fla/Bay County/FWC. I didn't pay much attention to it till about an hour ago.

there are 20 questions on this form and they also want me to draw detailed routes that I have run in the last two trips to the St. Andrews "Area" including destination locations. They also would like to know the size and draft of the boat I use. I call the guy @ UF that has his name on the survey to ask how I can put my routes down on the map to show that not the whole route is traveled under power. A lot of it is by trolling motor or polling. Seemed this was the only time anyone has called with that question. We worked out a way to show that on the map but(In my opinion) the jest of the conversation was that it seems that pole and troll areas are on the way to St. Andrews.

I think Chalk put that there. He just wants to know where you catch fish...

If yall get a survey in the mail from the Southwest Georgia Advanced Fisheries Understanding Center For Learning (SWGAFUCFL) asking for detailed routes to and from, including GPS numbers and the where, when and how fish were caught from inshore to offshore locations please fill them out. The research is very serious and will help me catch, I mean help us scientist and recreational anglers have a better understanding of our oceanic resources. Postage will be prepaid. Email will be provided in mailing if its easier for those concerned with our fisheries to just email me their data straight form their GPS machines.

Survey Questions

Post by Steve Stinson »

I don't answer any fishing related surveys anymore since witnessing the way Dr. Roy Crabtree and his cronies manipulate the data to change the fish limits on the recreational sector.

The last two times I was approached by a college kid with a clipboard at Sheild's fish cleaning table, I told them I didn't catch a d@mn thing, fileting fish and chucking carcasses the entire time.
