Anky - NOAA got it wrong - again

Anky - NOAA got it wrong - again

We headed out to anky today about 1:30 expecting a stiff breeze a blowin. This is what we found :-D

Anyway, Headed to Rock island area, where we proceeded to pick up a lot of trout, most of them those dang 14 3/4" ones :smt009

The wife got it going first with a nice 16" keeper, then she proceeded to boat this....

Yup, one of them GULP groupas....

Heading back in, took this wake photo, and my camera musta had a beer or three, as my rods look bent........weird....

Had a good day, the water was almost glass smooth on the way back in, and the sunset was nice...

Final tally, 4 keeper trout and 1 nice rock bass.....wife got 3 of the trout and the rock bass :oops:

But, it oughta be good fer a kitchen pass later down the road.... :lol:

Yep. Same for us. Stiff wind in the morning, but after noon or so, it lay down nicely.
