Had a auditor cancel his appointment with me for Fri so I went fishing. Kind of a slow day but still better than work. I tried a top water plug first and caught two 19" blue fish on the first cast, one on each hook. That was all the top water action I saw. Trout and lady fish liked live shrimp best. All morning was spent around the rock garden, then I talked to my neice and her husband, they were on the West flats so I went by there on my way in. She caught a 29" spanish on her first cast and he had a 22" in the the cooler. I caught a 20" spanish on a diving plug to finish off the day then lost my grip on him and let him slip away .
I hope ya'll tore them up today, my son has baseball so I'll be at the park.
