8 Ft. VHF antenna as FM antenna?
Before I cut off this nice VHF connector and try it on an FM radio, can anybody offer an opinion if it will perform decently for FM? A friend gave me the VHF antenna and I would like to hook it up to the FM/CD on my river boat.

Thanks
I remember those converter boxes now that you remind me. I am not so good with a soldering iron
, so I was trying to avoid putting the FM type plug on it if someone told me it was not worth it. Now to the fun stuff of cutting a hole in the dashboard for mounting that FM radidio... hey, if we didn't have important boat projects like this to pursue, I'd have to do yardwork
or other "honey do" stuff !!
