45' of Water

Post by beatswork »

This'll be a short report. Pinfish did not want to cooperate, only was able to get a few before I got impatiant and headed out. Headed out of Keaton and started in about 35 foot of water ended up in 45 foot of water. Fished using mostly squid. Could not get out of the bass, which wouldn't have been too bad if they would have just been bigger. Ended up with a bunch of pink mouth, and the few bass over 15" that were worth filleting. I do love to eat pink mouth, but I was really looking for a big ol' grouper to put the hurtin' on. Good day on the water, hats off to NOAA who predicted 1-2' seas and were right for a change. After we ran out of squid we fished in front of Spring Warrior right on low tide for about an hour in 3-4' of water and didn't do much but catch some lizard fish. Ended up with fish to fry and a boat to clean. Can't complain. :smt004
If we are not supposed to eat animals, why are they made out of meat?
