WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR???????????

[What a mess]

An attitude of gratitude will do a heart much good better than a pill or tonic.

I'll start off by saying I am not just grateful for all that God has given me but even more for what he has taken away.

I survived years of self abuse I called a good time and partying some of my friends did not.

I was told a fella I grew up with put the cork in the bottle so to speak four months ago.

His brother told me what a shock it was to him like waking up after a long bad dream.

I spoke to another fellow last week at church that said after twenty - five years he stopped and has been clean a year.

I guess it has been about fifteen years I have been on the wagon I doubt I would be here today if I hadn't stopped.

I am grateful for those that stopped before me that said I could and helped me as I decided to.

I am grateful that when I had a crisis in my life I could turn to the creator rather than a bottle or a bag.

I am full of thanks for those that would share another way to live that would allow me to have life, love, and family.

Things I just did not have the ability to enjoy before.
