Yamaha 4/27/03

Post by Sea Fox »

We left the Carrabelle river at 7 AM with 5 or 6 dozen pin fish and ran out to the Yamaha reef. The water was still choppy and 3 to 4 ft swells about 6 seconds apart . When we arrived there were 2 boats already there. After anchoring over some good bottom we got 9 grouper very Quickly but only one keeper, all but one of them where red. Then around 11 am the AJ,s showed up and we got 15 in the boat . The four we kept were 33 to 36 inch. After lunch the water calmed some to where you could see some trigger fish schools . We landed 3 of them before heading north at 2 PM. We had a great time only wished we could have stayed longer. 8)
