Please excuse the delay in reporting....Christmas lights and "stuff" seem to get in the way.

My wife and I decided to take off on Friday afternoon to try a bit of fishing. We picked up the dog and managed to get on the water around 2pm. The conditions looked good enough to venture out a little so instead of heading East, I kept on running South. Water was relatively smooth and very clear (18-19ft) and we could see all the bottom detail. The surface temp was showing 59-60 degrees. Prior to actually getting on the water, I wasn’t sure what we would be fishing for and my wife’s rod was still set up with a CT and about 24â€

Mmmmmm.... those sea bass are good eatin'! Trigger fish are too, I hear; just a little tough to clean.

I had a buddy tell me he went out Sunday and the sea bass were bitin' for him, too. Must be they were just ready for ya!

Good job

When they're fresh, I think the black sea bass are as good to eat as just about anything else you'll catch in these parts.
