Arrived to find mullet, finger mullet, shrimp and an osprey. That was all that was home...even found a few oysters bars.
Headed to the spot I saw so many fish on the other day. The wind was to my back and the sun to my face...decided to ease along with the wind to my back and see if I could sneak up on one. Didn't take long before I saw one.....and it saw me...easing along I see a few reds and I made some casts at the fish like I was trying to kill a snake
I regroup and the school has circled to my left....lay the fly near the school....strip...another bandit leaves the formation...gills flare...one successful strip strike and the bandit comes to see me

Money shot

Business end showing off the flavor of the day, redfish shrimp of course

I tried to chase these fish again, but they had my number...I couldn't get within 150 ft of them again...they humped up twice and left the flat on the third approach.
Moved onto another new spot and it didn't take long for me to see a lovely shade of red gliding through the grass....I see a few schools of reds and a few more singles. Ended up with two more fish.

One red on the fly and two on conventional tackle....very nice day on the water, can't wait til next time
