Need some ideas for a rod to pair up with spinning reel probaly around the size of a Stradic 2500, probaly 7 ft rod all ideas would be appreciated dpes not have to be the best out there going in the hands of novice.

That's what I wanted but stopped by on Wed. out of stock called supplier today they say don't know when they will have them much less get to SGO.
Cairotrout was not there so couldn't talk to him.

Try the TGX series made by Challenger. I like the TGX better than the Marshmaster.
Call SGO and talk directly with Heath.

is that the new one that is red? they showed me that one in 6'6'' supposed to be designed for reds/trout

Yep...thats the red 1...much better than the Marshmaster in my opinion.

Shimano crucial, med light and med, heavy. Also from South Georgia outdoors. Heath didn't have them when I went in but ordered them on a Tuesday and on Friday I had the rods.
