Spring Warrior Dec 26, 2007

Post by Fisherman989 »

Had two friends that went to Spring Warrior yesterday. They didn't get down there till about 1230 hours...but there still wasn't much water at the ramp. Got stuck on a sandbar close to the landing and had to wait till enough water came in to float them free.
Got started fishing about 1330-1400hrs. After about the 2nd or 3rd cast a big fat trout...about 22in was in the boat....close to shore...on topwater plugs. They went on to catch 6 trout...above average in size. Had to watch the 20 in. in size maximum too.
They only fished about 4-5 hours and headed in on the high tide of the afternoon.
Cold day...but rewarding. :D

Very Nice! And Topwater Too.
Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.
