FCKA.net had a campout at Ochlochnee River State Park this weekend and you could not have asked for better weather. Only a few sprinkles and only one person threw up a lot. We camped right on the river and pulled out our kayaks and just went to fishing. While we were out Saturday morning, Wevans came by and gave us a few pointers on where to pick up a few trout and they worked really well. Everyone caught trout and we had a few over twenty inches. Some of the Kayakers came from as far away as Americus, GA and Panama City. It was a long drive but they did catch a few fish. The trout were mostly down deep and biting white plastics. We explored for Redfish but had no luck finding them. CyraGraphics caught a small Flounder and I did catch one small 4 foot long Gar.
Can’t wait for the next trip.

Glad y'all found some
that one spot I showed ya don't produce em plentiful, but they are usually nice fish "few shorts"
I found a 21" Red the other side of the bridge while trolling and finally found two Bass "though small ones" in Crooked River
