Re: Interesting article on Gulp
Sure has helped me increase my productivity as relates to catching trash fish.
In all seriousness, kind of like making lemonade out of lemons I've actually grown to LOVE it for quickly filling up the live well with pins, grunts, and squirrelfish!

We've all had redfish follow a spoon, a topwater or a regular soft plastic 30 feet and never bite it. That doesn't happen with the Gulp!. If they get close enough to smell it, they eat it."

Re: Interesting article on Gulp
I agree with the post above me, in the summer I rarely use Gulps but the winter the amount of trash fish reduces drasticaly. I have fished many, many days in the winter and Gulps will outfish any lure in my tackle box 4-1.

Gulp a $1.00 per bait.
Driving to the Gulf from Georgia to fish for a day about $150.00
Ice, gas, oil, bait, launch, lunch, beverages, fees, license fees for self, boat registration, trailer tag, rod, reel, line, hook, pliers etc...
Catching fish while there priceless.
Boating with tackle is great, fishing is wonderful. catching sure does help keep it interesting.

I'm still wanting to know what is in that 80lb tackle bag you carry WAM.
If it's all gulp then you need to insure that bag!! lots a $$ in gulp.
I think maybe you got it stuffed with lead so your fishing pards will think you got big bucks invested.......

It is open for inspection. Lead of course, jig heads - sinkers, hooks spoons spinner baits plastic of many different sizes shapes & colors and action, leaders, snaps, swivels bubble rigs the offshore bags is bigger and even more heavy because of the big egg sinkers.
A lot of that stuff has gotten a lot less attention since Gulp came out.
