Lanark 1/27 and 1/28

Post by noleflyfisher »

Quick report. Fished the incoming both days and found lots of fish schooled up in the real skinny stuff. Close to impossible to catch as they would spook if I moved wrong. I managed 8 or so fish each day. Sunday, chartreuse toad and my molting shrimp were the ticket. Today, they wouldn't eat anything but a black and purple toad. Virtually all the fish I caught were singles . . . it's much easier when you have one set of eyes looking at you.

Nice fish Nole, those fish of yours look much cleaner than the one I have caught this year. It looks like you polish every fish before taking a pic. You need to fish with us and get a little mud on you!
