I am now safely back in "Old Blighty" after a great 90 days in the Big Bend, a big thankyou to all you guys that helped me out with sound advice which made my boating and fishing a lot more enjoyable and safe. Terrier and Silverking, thanks for the great deals on lures and tackle and special thanks to Wevans who put me onto some fine fishing, especially when the conditions were difficult and he put me onto some of his spots on the Ochlochonee, I finished my final day with a nice 20 inch red from in amongst fallen branches [the spot we met at wevans ] it cost me about eight jigs lost in the debris, but was well worth it, I released it safely for another day, the picture below is not to the great standards of those from Noel, but it gives you an idea. I will be looking in on the forum to see how you guys are getting on during the year, I regret missing the 2 meets of the NFGFC but will endevour to get to the next ones when I return later in the year.
