Garmin Question

Post by NoleFear »

Anyone using one of the newer Garmins (440 series) and how do you like it? I look at one the other day and it seemed a little harder to navigate the screens compared to the older Garmins.

Just bought one the other day and seems to be fine. Compared to my old unit (Magellan) screen navigation is simple and quick. Aquires in about 15 secs cold with ext. antenna

I have the 440s and love it. I have had it for about 2 months and have no complaints. It has everything that you need for inshore and offshore. Plus, you can get a chip that will give you arial photos of most of the marinas throughout the state. Neat feature if your in an unfamiliar area.
