Took a little flex time this afternoon and did some pre-tournament recon one last time. No pics or great catches to brag about, but the weather was great, the currents were strong, and I've been out there about 20 hours a week for the last 8 weeks and today had the most aggressive bite I've seen since November.  Just wanted to spread the good news to anyone checkin out the forums before the tournament. Found fish following the typical patterns, but in slightly deeper water (2-3 feet) than I've been seeing them over the past several weeks. Course the tides were higher so the same spots were deeper, but I did go out of my way to hit some spots that are normally inaccessible to find good shallow water, and didn't see much or get much action there. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get out there until about 2pm so I was fishing mostly the high slack and the turn to outgoing. I'll bet the rise would have been a blast this morning.

See ya'll in the mornin!
