Well I found out what was wrong with the Trolling Motor

Post by mojokoko »

I've been having a problem with the trolling motor speed control recently. Well after doing lots of troubleshooting I found out
that there was a short in the Unit itself and not in the cable or anything else. The only bad part is, I found out about this, because my trolling motor
caught on fire Sunday :o So needless to say it's off to Minn Kota here I hope shortly...

You know - when I won that fish scaling device with built-in hose (thanks to South Georgia Outdoors) in the raffle two meetings ago, JT said something about it being a shame it was going to someone who can't catch fish. I have only caught one keeper red since then I think, and it had prop scars in it to the extent I'm surprised it was alive so it was very carefully released...you tell MEEEE what hex JT...

You can buy a MF brand pushpole at Jerrys Bait and Tackle.
We have one and used it Saturday. Works when the TM won't.
