Friday - March 7th - NFGFC Members Fish Fry in K.B.

Post by caseycook »

There was talk at the weigh-in Saturday about having a fish fry the Friday night before the Keaton tournament in K.B. A few members mentioned that they were interested and I wanted to start a thread to plan it if there's still some interest. Of course, all NFGFC members and BFF members are invited and I'm guessing that the fish fry would be held somewhere at the Marina.

I think it'd be a great way to spend the early part of Friday evening. Is anyone interested? If so, what can you bring? I'll try and start a list of who's bringing what.

I can bring some redfish or trout depending on what we catch that day. I'll also bring some frozen redfish there as well.
Boom goes the dynamite.

Rule number 1 for fish frys: Never bank on catching fish today to be served at a fish fry tonight. :-D

I'm open to all options. Whatever will keep Butch feeling well enough to stick around. Not much of a cook, but I could supply plates, forks, etc.

Butch said if he "has to take a roll of TP on the boat", he "is not missing this year at Keaton".

Yeap, the last cottage. #14 on the back of the marina she said. Didn't sound as good as the other cottages but it was the last she had so I took it. Look forward to seeing you guys down there !!!

Bring 2 1 and 1/2" thick T-bone steaks. Choice or prime beef is acceptable. These are not for human consumption. Butch and I will eat them.
