Take a Kid Fishing
It’s that time of year again to take kids fishing from the Florida Baptist Children’s Home. This year’s date is April 12, with blast off at 8:00 a.m. out of Fort San Marco on the St. Marks River. If you have participated in the past, you know what a great experience this is with 25-30 boats taking off in the sunrise with laughing, excited children. This has always been a very successful day for the children, due to the participants from North Florida Gulf Fishing Club, Coastal Conservation Association, and local area church members. As always, there will be a cook out at the pavilion after fishing at about 1:00 p.m.
