Yea , that pretty much sux!!

Post by BAD BEHAVIOR »

Weather forcast for Sat. 4-6 ft 20knots. I finally have a chance @ Keaton through all our hard work and looks like BB's the only one in our crowd bad enough to take the heat. :smt009 I was looking forward to the festivities, hopefully it will calm down some so you skinny water freaks dont have to leave it on the trailer!!! :-D BB may not run in six inches, but she'll bring you home in most storms!!! Ill take 10 inches of draft and a dry azz in 4 footers anyday over fishing in 6 inches 30 days out of the year!! DISCLAIMER: ( This is technically termed as stirring the shiot before a tourney, and I do carry a big paddle!!) ;-) :smt004

add a north wind to these tides:

Fishermans Rest
8 March 2008 - 9 March 2008
29.7333° N, 83.5333° W

2008-03-08 02:04 EST 3.31 feet High Tide
2008-03-08 06:51 EST Sunrise
2008-03-08 07:15 EST Moonrise
2008-03-08 08:23 EST -0.19 feet Low Tide
2008-03-08 14:14 EST 3.32 feet High Tide

and you'll be lucky to find 6"

I plan on putting reins on Boo and letting him drag us...

The Reel Cowboy needs 10" to float and like BB said she'll keep you dry but this is going to be tough. :smt011
I think I've got a pool raft I can put the trolling motor and cooler on. :smt012

Never fished Keaton before, but if it's anything like Aucilla it won't be worth fishing till around 11:00. Team BB, good luck, but I don't think the trout have quite moved out to 6' of water yet. I am predicting 11lbs winning the tournament.

Listen carefully and you can hear that mournful cry carried by NE winds......
"where's the water?"

Im planning on checkin in, a good breakfast, and puttin in around 930 or 10. Ill just sit back and enjoy the show as everyone else beats and frams to get in. And Capt'n, thanks for the well wishes but BB likes it skinny, too. If I can cover the blades on the trolling motor, she'll float. Ask Sea Spot from our last trip. He was amazed at how light she can get when the redfish go to tailin'!!!!
