Wakulla Beach 3-10-2008

Post by jsuber »

Its the DST day. THE first day after work with an extra hour to fish. The hard core fishermen were out and about celebratring the first of many days this year with some long afternoons.

The Trout were very happy to participate in the celebration and lucky for me, Talltails had been out for two hours figuring out where the fish were. He was already into the Trout when I arrived and I picked up a few myself. I took a few pictures of Talltails but none of them came out. They were all blurry. I guess I got my lens wet or did something wrong. We moved off that area and hit another one and was slaying some pretty good size trout til about 6:30 and then the fish just stopped biting. We caught over 30 trout so it was not a bad day to celebrate DST. Don't miss the celebration as it last to October.

We caught them on jerkbaits and paddle tails with 1/4 oz jigheads in Red. I had my best luck with the jigheads.

It's very difficult. Some times it takes me 40 to 45 seconds to fall asleep. :D

HEY JOHN, HAVE YOU TRIED GOING TO BED SAY AN HOUR LATER, IT WORKS FOR ME. INSTEAD OF GOING TO BED AT 10 P.M. , I WAIT AND WATCH THE 11 P.M NEWS, THAT WAY I FALL RIGHT OFF TO SLEEP AS SOON AS I HIT THE MATTRESS.
