Hit the water at 8am to overcast skies. Threw topwater in 3 feet and managed our only 2 keeper reds of the day. They would short stirck, roll at it, pop it.. just not inhale... No trout. Hit a sheephead hole in 12 feet and managed 1. Also caught 2 silver/sand trout there.(whats the slot on those guys).
Off the water at 4.. long day and hard fishing. Couldn't ever get the torut bite going... lots of boats out today in front of Warrior/Fenholloway area... hope we do better in the Relay tournament next weekend...

Your day sounds about like ours today, slow. We only got 3 keeper trout, lots of shorts.
It felt good to be out there again, fish'in with my dad.

I believe there is no creel limit or size requirement on white trout, I could not clarify that in the regs though
Good day fish'n
