Econfina 3/29 , Gags

Post by Frank Bradfield »

Gags were everywhere ! Caught them on every spot we hit. Did not have to get wet today. Live pinfish was the bait of choice for us. Water temp was 69. Vis was suspect from topside. Best bite was right after low tide. Took along the pinfishking ( Greg ) with his patched up leg , 1st time he had been out since breaking it in October. I think hes ready to go back. We didn't get started until 10:30 and had our limit before 2:30.

Tom,

We did try to call you Friday while we were on the way down. We got a recordong saying number was "unreachable" and no voice mail picked up. We were in Capps when we tried. Don't know iof something weird was going on with the cell towers or something. We needed you. We had to stop at 10 since it was just us 2.

If you get a chance, call Frank on his cell to make sure we still have the correct number, etc.

Later,
Greg

Nice job guys

A buddy of mine fished out Econfina last week with his daughter and they managed 10 gags in just 3 hours doing nothing but trolling in 35-40 ft. The stretch of choice was the green tiger stripe and anything blue.
