Got me thinkin (again) about night fishing our flats in the summer.
I'm just not sure I want to do it in my kayak. I do plan to catch a 30 here.
Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.

Hey BB. I from the tallahassee area but moved down to orlando a couple of years ago. That being said I fish the Mosquito lagoon a lot. It is a good fishery. If you do go a couple of things to think about. On the weekend there can be a ton of boats running round, which mean a lot of pressure on the fish. It'll piss you off fishing a school of reds or easing up on a flat you have seen some activity then some yahoo buzzes the flat and you see all your fish spook. The bite will turn off on the weekend becuase of this. You might have a more productive trip if you hit it on a monday or tuesday cause them fish are hungry on those day due to not eating the prior few days. You'll want a shallow draft boat to get onto some of the flats. And if you're going to hire a guide my first suggestion is Scott Trip. You won't find a better guide, but becase of this he is booked far in advanced.
