Water light to moderate chop...so forecast said...
We hit the mouth of the river about 8 and wind started howling...All day never let up. after a short shower it blew harder..However, did get into some decent fish early..Put six trout in the box before 10 that ran from 18 1/2 " to 20"..After about 11 not even the shorts bit..Ran out to about 7' and tried fishing on bottom..nothing..Did catch a 30" cobia on a pinfish drifted behind the boat.. :-D
Came out about 3.Lot of boats on the water and the river looked like the interstate with everybody heading in to load ! Guess they had enough of the rough water like we did. :smt009

Glad you caught some! Weather forecasts looked quite favorable! Sure hope it lays down next couple weeks as I plan to spend several days down there!

How deep water were you fishing and what did they bite the best? Wish I was there. Carlabear :)

The wether did look a little nasty yesterday morning.
Glad you got out there and caught a few.

SD, unless I missed a report, that's two good 'uns in a row. Did you stay the weekend or head back?
