Apalachee Bay 4/21

Post by Tail Chaser »

Got the opportunity to go out on a friends boat today and just couldn't turn it down, I'm a sucker for fishing.

I thought today would be a tough day since there was a full moon last night and I was correct :smt009 We headed out of the lighthouse around Noon and was off the water at 7 p.m. We ran out to St Marks Reef first and dropped the lines and in a couple hours had 1 rather large fish break off and that's about it. We then ran over to Ochlocknee Shoals and had a couple break offs and one small shark. After getting beat up by the wind and waves (it definitely wasn't 1-2, like they said it was  )we played around a few of the oyster bars and settle for a couple trout. Beautiful day, but very tough fishing.
