Left ALB early, got in the water before daylight. Eased out the mouth, bars were showing. Started out a little slow, but turned on quick. We had a limit by 10:45am, only 2 shorts. Went in to catch some reds before the 1:30 high tide. Reds were tough to come by, only managed 2 in about an 1 1/2 hrs. While in fishing tight we released another 10-12 keeper trout including 2 20's and a 21. Great first trip of the year. Only negative was my patna getting finned by a hardhead, he was struggling for about 20mins. Can't wait to go back.
It makes a fishing trip a lot less hassle when you got somebody to wash your boat while you drink beer.
tact is for people not witty enough to be sarcastic
H M, we were shallow, 2-3 ft or less all day. Caught some on 5" bass assassins, a couple on top water, but most on.............well, I can't give up the top secret bait. (and no.....it's not gulp)
