prop pitch
150 merc,1802 actioncraft,is it better to go fast,or get fast in a hurry,im trying out a 23 deg 4 blade,but i loose bite on wave tops,cavitating kinda,rpms 5300.[two stroke engine]67 mph

Any boat will cavitate in waves. If you have a jack plate just lower the motor. If you cavitate in slight seas and do not have a jack plate then the motor is to high and you need to lower it.
If you are reaching the rpms specified for that engine, then you are propped right, 67 is pretty strong. If you want more hole shot, you drop down in pitch, but you might over rev the engine and lose top end.
