Google Earth Easter Egg (Hidden Program Feature)!!!

Post by big bend gyrene »

Pretty cool little feature hidden in Google Earth (needs to be version 4.2)! :D

With Google Earth open and running, just hit Ctrl+Alt+A. Hold the keys for just a second, and a new window should open up and allow you to use a feature you likely haven't seen. Controls are a bit tricky, but fun nonetheless.

Sure welcome any replies with opinions on whether you like or not, but if possible hold details on the exact nature of the surprise so others can enjoy without any spoiler

Renamed the post as I got to wondering if everyone on the board necessarily has seen easter eggs before... basically, they are hidden features that can be related to the program or even radically different (think it was Microsoft Excel that had a hidden pinball game feature some time ago). While I don't want to give this Google Earth one away, might should have done better job titling the post

Really cool, I need to practice though! There are some good online instructions for the "hidden feature".
