3 days with the crew
this past weekend the whole crew from work took off for a long weekend of fishing. we took 3 boats, 18 ft hughes, reel slows scout, and my 15' 2" keywest. friday morining 6 of us went out of carrebelle river with the scout and keywest. ran to the east a little way and got on the trout. lots of big fat ones limited outon my boat. but a storm blow in. the scout ran back to carrebelle but i took shelter at lanark and one of the guys caught a ride back to truck. we cleaned our catch and then took them to pirates cove and had them cook up a big mess for our supper.
saturday moring i hauled to lanark while the other 2 boats put in the river. i went to fsu to try some reds, no luck so i went back to the spot we had been in friday and try the trout again. caught a good mess of keepers and a flounder. the hughes came in with 2 keeper reds and a flounder. the scout brought in a few trout. we did the pirates cove thing again, the blacken flounder was great. most of the crew went home after dinner.
sunday moring with just 3 of us still down we took the hughes out to play with the reds. we boated 6 real quick and a few trout. did not keep any. dnr stopped by to check us out, all good and chatted with them for a little bit and headed home.
we had a great weekend and caught lots of fish.

Re: 3 days with the crew
Sounds like a nice way to spend a 3 day weekend.
