Lanark 5/31

Post by noleflyfisher »

On at 7:00, off at 4:00. Caught a few fish on the incoming but the flood gates opened on the strong afternoon fall. Found a bunch of cooperative fish on some outside sandbars. Nice to see 'em coming from 150 feet. :D Ended the day with 15 or so fish. Three at 26, the rest between 20 and 24. Fly de jeur was an olive and brown clouser. When they quit on that I went to old faithful, the molting shrimp. 41 miles on the Garmin.

Nice report Nole. I just got that exact mask. I tried it for the first time this weekend. I like it, wasn't as hot as I thought it would be.
