NOAA's 5-10 was more like 15-20 this morning, so we could not stay out on the flats which I planned on doing in the first place. We first hit up stoney bay in a spot where I knew fish would be on high tide. First two casts of the morning= double hookup but both reds were 22". Due to the south wind and out going tide it made maneuvering the trolling motor hard. My buddy Nate proceeded to hang 4 more reds despite the winds. His biggest of the day went 28" on a gold spoon. He had already coolered one 22" and I wasnt leaving until I had one for lunch as well. We went up this one creek where an airboat was doing donuts over the marshes...way to go loser. Despite a giant noise maker out there I had boated and coolered a 22" after spooking it and it coming back 180 degrees to hit my Gulp New Penny shrimp (cheatin' baits). And MAN was it hot out there, the ride home my temp reading said 99 degrees.

WTG! Great redfishes for sure! I'm drifting points this am early west of Anky and only one other boat in sight.....you guessed it...he cut me off my drift!
Go figure!
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
That was me in the airboat trying to keep you outa my spots...it probably wouldn't have been so hot if you weren't wearing your rattleanake cove sweater in the Summer
