Should NFGFC tournaments have a entry fee and cash payouts?
A question of cash payouts was submitted by a NFGFC member. I am submitting the question to you.
Please do not vote unless you are a NFGFC member in good standing. ie dues paid currently.
**The entry fee and no payout choice.** The money would go into more prizes to be given away at the end of the year banquet.

I think we should pay to 20 places. That way BB and I can get some of our money back.

In reality, I guess we could entertain the idea of a 40-30-20-10% at 25 boats or more. In the future maybe.
If the membership and tournament participation continues to grow we could increase payouts and decrease percentages for every 10 boats over 25 boats. All while keeping the entry fee at a modest $20 per boat.
Remember everyone gets fed and wins a prize. No one leaves without winning something.
Sorry Eman and PT.

Since the club is so big and rich and gas prices are going to cut into participation - I vote to lower the entry to $15.

Since you have not fished a tournament in 2 years...you get to fish the July tournament for free. What ever you win you keep. You must fish the remaining tournaments thru November. Your average will be $15 per tournament.RodBow wrote:Since the club is so big and rich and gas prices are going to cut into participation - I vote to lower the entry to $15.
What say you?
P.S. The club is getting larger ...NOT rich or richer. In fact every penny is spent on members throughout the year less $500 to start the new year not in the hole.
