Lots of Slashed Prices

Do you guys think the number of slashed boat prices are related to fuel prices? I do. It seems that people are trying to give the things away (well not really). It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next few years if fuel prices continue to climb. I think commercial fishermen will seek new careers or figure out ways to refit sailboats to meet their needs. I plan to keep fishin even if I have to give up other bad habits. By the way, does anyone know how to contact the fellow who has the tracker 16 ft. on this forum which has been slashed to $5500. I want to buy that boat, but I can't get him to respond here.
