I suspect that the first landing is better. I used the second one without any problems, except trying to come back at low tide.

This is as much a story on me as it is a word of caution. Last week I used teh ramp at the bridge thinking my front wheel drive Honda Pilot could pull a 19 ft cape craft out and all I did was dig a hole. I did not have enogh weight on the front end. Is your tacoma FWD? Both state park ramps are sand with Oyster shell a few yards up. I did not try putting in, but the first ramp looks like less of an incline, but had much less traffic if you did have problems. The second ramp looked like the channel was better marked. All this being said, I am still finding my way around the island
