Keaton Beach Fishing

Got an opportunity to put the RV on a site in Keaton, about three miles from the Marina. This would lock me in to fishing there more often vice St. Mark's. Only fished there once (this Spring's tourney). Was wondering how the fishing is summer/fall. Same pattern as St. Mark's/Econfina? It's not too big of a driving distance than that I already endure going to St. Mark's.

Very similar pattern. The biggest difference is way more scallopers.

Good deal, Ron. Ya'll we'll enjoy fishing down there. I don't fish there much in the summer, but the fall winter spring fishing is awesome.

There is a bunch of fish in just about any direction from Keaton.
Spring Warrior is usually pretty good and down to Piney Point and beyond there is also good.
If you like really clear water go to Piney Point and if you like stained water start at Spring Warrior.

Thanks fellows. I'm heading down this weekend to take a look at the RV site and hopefully do some fishing. I'll post update when I return.
