Well got out two days in a row. Put the canoe in at the ramp around 2pm and set out. Started fishing double gold Colorado bladed spinnerbaits, but no luck. Switched to 10" culprit worms (dark grey to black) and that was the ticket. Boated two, three pound bass, and one around four. Fish were on the second ledge out in 8-12 ft of water. Most fish were caught fishing deep bottom structure. Used a texas rig on the worms. Fish were sluggish to say the least. They would pick up the worm and drop it. Pick it up again and drop it. Finally when you cant take it anymore and feel a good bump id set the hook. Lost two small bass about 20 yards off the boat. I was not very confident in my hook sets but still managed to boat some nice fish. They have been weighing more then my redfish have . Will try to get some pictures up soon, but as soon as im out of my last class tomorrow I plan on going out again.
