Heading to Panama City Beach to do a little surf fishing this weekend. Having to do work on Monday, I will be coming back while the wife and first mate stay the week. Going to be taking the Blue Wave down and thinking of launching at the state park there, wanting to do some fishing on the bay, along with run along the coast. Are there any regulations about fishing along the coast as to how far out you need to stay? Would really like to head out and see about a bit deeper spots as I know it gets deep quick around there, are there any good spots to hit without going out too far around that area? Any advise or info would be appreciated, want to put the first mate on some good fish without making her too nervous. thanks to all in advance.
