Spent the first 2 days fishing the Big Hole, which was running perfectly. Caught the first 2 days of the 5 day spruce moth hatch. Great timing. Rising cutties and big browns were caught almost primarily on #14 caddis and mayfly patterns. We caught about 15 browns and cutthroats right by the landing while the drift boats were getting ready. Here are a few more pics of the scenery, our Big Hole mascot and some "action" pics.

We then moved on to one of our favorite spots outside of Missoula and fished Rock Creek for the remainder. We are all convinced this is some of the best dry fly fishing in the country. This is the 6th year fishing this water (a beautiful 4 mile wade) and I will be there again (not soon enough). The final pic is of a nice cutthroat I got on a buddy's 7 ft 4 wt he called the "crick picker." Sweet rig. A little different feel than the 9 ft 5 wt XP I had with me, but unbelievable feel. Shot line incredibly well. Handeled this cuttie and another brown (a bit bigger, but a bit more "camera shy" than the cut).
