Basic Fly Tying

Post by TallyFly »

The Florida Big Bend Flyfishers Club (FBBF) will begin a Basic Fly Tying class on Thursday, September 18, 2008. The classes will be held at the Sportsman's Warehouse from 6-8 and will run for six weeks.

Capt Reggie will be the lead instructor but Tom Logan and Norm Thomas will also teach. We have a lot of fun in these classes and you will learn a lot about equipment, materials, lines, knots and fresh and salt water flies.

The cost of $75 includes membership in the National (FFF), the State and the Local (FBBF)clubs for one year. There are reduced prices if you are already a member of FFF or FBBF. If you do not have any tying equipment, we will be able to get a reduced price from the Warehouse.

You can see the announcement in our latest newsletter at http://www.fbbflyfishers.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Come join us.

We will be demonstrating some flies at the Warehouse this Saturday, 9/13, from 10-2.
